Privacy Policy — MedTech Compliance Tracker

Overview​

MedTech Compliance Tracker ("the App") is built on the Atlassian Forge platform and runs entirely within Atlassian's infrastructure. The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or user information.

Data accessed​

When a Jira issue is created, the App reads the following fields from that issue solely to determine whether a compliance sub-task should be created:

  • Issue summary
  • Issue description
  • Issue type
  • Project key

This data is processed in-memory within the Forge runtime and is never written to any external database, third-party service, or storage system outside of Atlassian's platform.

Data we do NOT collect​

The App does not collect, process, or store:

  • Names, email addresses, or any other personally identifiable information (PII)
  • Authentication credentials
  • Usage or telemetry data
  • Cookies or tracking identifiers

Data storage​

The App uses no persistent storage of its own. All data remains within your Atlassian instance. Sub-tasks created by the App are written back to your Jira project using the same Atlassian APIs your instance already uses.

Third-party services​

The App makes no calls to any third-party services or external APIs. All processing occurs within the Atlassian Forge sandbox.

Atlassian's role​

Because the App runs on Atlassian Forge, Atlassian's own privacy policy and data processing terms govern the underlying infrastructure. Please refer to Atlassian's Privacy Policy for details.

Changes to this policy​

If the App's data practices change in a future version, this policy will be updated and a new effective date will be set. Material changes will be noted in the release notes.
